The 4th in pictures
Here are a few pictures I took at this year’s Independence Day celebrations.
And what is a 4th of July celebration without bubbles?
I hope that your 4th of July festivities were safe and exciting. Please keep the troops fighting for our (as well as others’) freedoms in your prayers. They are the ones who really know what independence is all about. War is evil but sometimes must be fought to prevent tyranny and fear from flourishing. May God bless the US (as well as countries and peoples all over the globe). Shalom
Matt, those are great pics! I didn’t get to see much fireworks here. Most counties in NE Texas are under a burn ban right now. Oh well…maybe next year.
Like your new site, but glad you still come to your old one…:-D
Thanks for checking out my new place! That is always a bummer when there is a ban on. Seeing some of the big shows can be fun (if they are available and not too crowded) but it is still a lot of fun to be with friends and family and doing some yourself.
Ahhh, Americans and fireworks. I think if you took the money you spent on fireworks every year and donated it to the Aids
Crisis, all could be solved! Americans are way more patriotic than Canadians and I dont really know why. Anyway, just
random ramblings.
I do think people spend way too much on fireworks, but there is much more waste going on all over the place (not just in the US). Have you ever been to the huge fireworks show in Vancouver (the Celebration of Light)? I hear it is pretty impressive.
Did you get my email about being a community group leader at Regent? I was just reminded about it and realized I haven’t heard back from you.
Oops, sorry about that, I forgot to write back! Done and… done.
What a cute little red head.
How about this?
Ha. Looks just like Dirty Harry in a Quentin Tarantino film…with the barrel of the gun looking disproportionally loooooong.
