Let the good times roll
Hello everyone. I am approaching my second year of blogging and I figure I would start things off with a new domain and some new, more powerful blogging software. I downloaded WordPress as it has many great options and a very user friendly interface. I have definitely had to learn how to manipulate code as I go, so any feedback as far as design, structure, ease of read, etc. would be appreciated!
I started my first blog over with ModBlog at mattithyahu.modblog.com [No longer available]. You can see many of my back posts in my ModBlog archive [Not any more]. [UPDATE: now all posts can be found in my MattJonesBlog Archive.]
I also fairly recently set up my first stand alone blog over at jonesverbiage.com [No longer exists] but didn’t really like the domain and was looking for some software that was a little more powerful, but SourceForge’s “Simple PHP Blog” was a great introduction to blogging software. Stop by for my more recent entries.
So now I am here at the new domain and ready to see where it takes me. Feel free to comment and join the “conversation”.

PS. Any google ad-clicking or searching would be greatly appreciated. I don’t necessarily endorse their adds, but I do endorse them paying me. I am not really sure how I feel about the ad placement. If they become too much and are distracting from the actual blog, please let me know.
PPS. I am also starting to add a few of my older entries to this blog so they can be seen and referred to here. I have a decent number of my modblog entries migrated others will follow over the next few days.
Kewl! Have you looked at Roger Simon’s blog? They’re talking about bloggers uniting somehow for ad space I think??? I assume the goal would somehow to be making money at this crazy blog game.

Tony, this is definitely a work in progress that is fun (but can be tiring) to work on. I though you would enjoy it. And I have NO IDEA how to fix that bug!
Sal, with this software I can have multiple users that can post as well… in case you were interested…
That would be so fun!! BUT, making a fool of myself in front of family is one thing…doing so in front of strangers…I just don’t know if I could handle that kind of rejection.
